Recently I purchased a few new items and I am absolutely LOVING them!
I’ve been hearing about how amazing the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector is left and right, so of course I had to go to a Sephora and swatch the heck out of them, and boy did my little heart flutter. So beautiful, so smooth, and you would think it would be powdery or too “sparkly”, but in fact it is like butter! The actual powder itself is incredibly fine, it has that shimmer sparkle, but when applied on your face it melts into your skin and looks like you’re glowing from within. It’s a bit pricey at $38, but sometimes it feels good to splurge on luxury makeup products, especially when they make you feel good. I definitely don’t regret this purchase and in fact plan on purchasing more shades eventually. Can’t help but wear this everyday! Good job Becca, you did good!

Benefit’s Majorette had just launched and my first impression was, “wow thats so cute!” I’m definitely a powder blush only kind of girl, but something about this product was just pulling me in. Was it the packaging? The smell? Oh the smell, it’s just delicious! I ordered it right away and at first glance I must say I was worried this would be hard to use considering I usually use powders. Creams on top of powders sometimes seperate on your skin. I used a Real Techniques Duel Fiber brush to take a little amount of product and applied it to my freshly powdered cheeks. I was very surprised to find that it blended very nicely, and the color is so flattering. I then top it off with different powder blushes, depending on my mood. What I found was not only was my powder blush more opaque but it lasted so much longer, than it would by itself. If you’re into cream blushes, or have wanted to try a cream blush, this is definitely a must!

I’m very picky when it comes to choosing foundations, because I have gone through so much trial and error, that it’s so difficult for me to find something that works. I was on Ulta.com just browsing some products when I stumbled upon this foundation. My first thoughts were, “Calvin Klein makes foundation? Is this good?” I tried to find reviews of it online and swatches but came up with only a few mentions and reviews. I realized it was a fairly new product, which explains the lack of information on it, but nonetheless I chose a color blindly I thought would suite me best and went with it. Upon receiving it I immediately fell in love with the packaging – it’s frosted glass, has a pump, and feels so heavy and durable. The color I chose is a little bit dark, but manageable for now (I will definitely be purchasing a lighter shade as well). The coverage is medium to full, and it has a soft velvety finish too it. My skin is not oily nor is it dry, and I don’t have any issues with this foundation separating, getting cakey, or oily on my skin. I love how it looks natural, and for me personally, I find that the longer I wear it after application, the better it seems to look. I’m really happy I stumbled upon this little gem. Definitely my everyday favorite foundation!
